Council Warden, William Fahy Passes Away

Concord Council #112 Warden and Membership Director, William Fahy, passed away recently, after a brief battle with Cancer.


Bill, a Charter member of Hillsboro Council #13095, transferred to our Concord Council #112 during the last decade, and quickly became a driving force in its membership retention and other successful programming. He also saw successes in Community and Church programming, in particular, with the Creche' presence on State House property and as an Officer within the Monsignor Buckley 4th Degree Assembly #0627.


There will not be a wake, however, a funeral for Bill will be held on Saturday, January 3rd 2015 at 12:00  noon. at Saint John's Church in Concord.

4th Degree Color Corps and Guard is requested to be present in Regalia by 11:30am for instruction.

Robert Bailey:

Robert ""Bob"" O. Bailey, 76, of Concord passed away peacefully Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at CRVNA Hospice House surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Concord, the son of the late Yvette M. (Audet) Bailey. He was a graduate of St. John's High School class of 1957, and attended Concord Community College. He was employed by Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 35 years.

Bob was an avid Fisherman and enjoyed hunting in his earlier years. He was a life time member of the Concord Knights of Columbus and a faithful supporter of the Christ the King Food Pantry. Bob was also an avid fan of the Bruins and UNH Hockey.


He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Mary Jane (Ross) Bailey of Concord; his daughter, Susan (Bailey) Guay and her partner, Stanley Williams of Hopkinton; and son, Anthony Bailey and his wife, Kim of Concord; five grandchildren, Spenser, Jordyn, Logan and Evan Guay, and Brayden Bailey; one great-granddaughter Miley; his sister, Sheila Bailey Ross of Concord; and two brothers, William Bailey of Barnstead and Charles Bailey of Arizona; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his mother, Robert was predeceased by his little sister Karen Bailey.

Memorial visiting hours will be held on Friday, Feb. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main St., Concord.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Feb. 21, at 11 a.m. at Christ the King, St. John's Parish, 72 South Main St., Concord.

Burial will be held at Blossom Hill Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Christ the King Food Pantry, 72 South Main Street, Concord, NH 03301.
